أعلن كبير مستشاري السياسة الخارجية للمرشد الإيراني، علي خامنئي، أن رئيس النظام السوري بشار الأسد يمثل “الخط الأحمر” بالنسبة لطهران، وذلك مع تحديد موعد انعقاد جولة المباحثات حول سوريا في نيويورك.
واعتبر المسؤول الإيراني، علي أكبر ولايتي، أن الشعب السوري وحده هو الذي سيحدد مستقبل الأسد، مشيراً إلى أنه لولا الدعم الإیراني لسقط النظام السوري.
كما جدد ولايتي التأكيد أن “إیران لن تترك الأسد لا في میدان الحرب، ولا في میدان السیاسیة”.
